Employment Agreement Template

An employment contract or agreement is a written contract that is binding between an employee and an employer, and it spells out and describes the core employment terms such as salary, benefits, job title, duties, and duration. Courts consider these agreements to be a valid contract and will generally uphold employment agreements because they are a legally binding document.

Even if you have current employees that didn't sign an employment contract when they were hired, it's not too late to get them to sign a contract now.

This template comes in a Microsoft Word (.doc) file format.

With An Employment Agreement You Will Have:

  • confidentiality and non-compete clauses in place
  • a formally written policy for at-will employment

  • documented records of your employees' hiring terms
